Use better biometric machines to mark attendance: Teachers

AMRITSAR: The Government Teacher Union Democratic Teachers'' Front has criticised the state Education Department for “using poor technology” to mark attendance of the staff. The union said biometric machines did not work.

The Government Teacher Union Democratic Teachers' Front has criticised the state Education Department for “using poor technology” to mark attendance of the staff. The union said biometric machines did not work. 

Union leader Ashwani Awasthi said, “The teachers are suffering as the machine does not mark their attendance properly. We demand better biometric machines.”
