Bathinda: The police have arrested three persons with illicit liquor and four cases have registered at various police stations.



Bathinda: The police have arrested three persons with illicit liquor and four cases have registered at various police stations. In the first case, the Kotwali police arrested Charanjit Singh, a resident of Aawa Basti, with 12 bottles of illicit liquor from the bus stand. The Thermal police arrested Amritpal Singh, a resident of Har Raipur village, with 11 bottles of illicit liquor from Sukha Singh Singh Nagar, Bathinda. The Bathinda Sadar police arrested Sukhpal Singh, a resident of Killi Nihal Singh village, with 16 bottles of illicit liquor and also seized a scooter (PB-03-5510) from Burj Mehma village. The Sangat police recovered 96 bottles of illicit liquor from Jassi Bagh Wali village. A case has been registered against Baljeet Singh, a resident of the same village, and an unidentified person under the Excise Act.
