Chief Judicial Magistrate Dr Mandeep Mittal, who is also Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Bathinda, organised a meeting with bank officials here today.
Dr Mittal presided over the meeting to find out the ways and means to settle the maximum number of bank cases during the Lok Adalat.
He asked the bank officials to avail maximum benefit of the Lok Adalat because it saves time, expenses and mental harassment of the litigants. The bank officials assured the CJM that they would try to entertain the maximum number of cases in the upcoming Lok Adalat.
Besides, Dr Mittal also held a meeting with Harbans Lal, Superintendent, Municipal Corporation Bathinda.
Thereafter, the Secretary, DLSA, Bathinda, participated in a blood donation camp at Gupta Hospital. He praised the blood donors.
