Bathinda (Urban) Manpreet Badal

A BA-LLB degree holder, Manpreet Badal is the cousin of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. This time he will fight his sixth Assembly elections. He became MLA on SAD ticket in 1995 and was re-elected from Gidderbaha constituency in 1997, 2002 and 2007. He became the Finance Minister in Parkash Singh Badal government in 2007.

Talwandi Sabo Khushbaz Jattana

Even as Khushbaz fought student union elections and became state vice-president of the Congress party, it will be his first Assembly elections. He belongs to the farming community. He has MA and LLB degrees to his credit. His name was doing the rounds for a long time for the Talwandi Sabo seat.

Rampura Phul Gurpreet Kangar

The 45-year-old Congress leader is a graduate. He is a resident of Kangar village and belongs to the farming community. He has been an active politician and has fought Assembly elections thrice, with two victories to his credit. He fought the 2002 Assembly elections from the same constituency as an independent candidate and won, fought on Congress ticket in 2007 and again won but the Congress leader lost to SAD candidate in 2012. rooms
