BATHINDA: The second day of BFGI’s fourth international fest Vibgyor 2016 was marked by musical performances and competitions.

The second day of BFGI’s fourth international fest Vibgyor 2016 was marked by musical performances and competitions. The guest of honour on the second day was Sikander Singh Maluka, Minister for Rural Development & Panchayat, Government of Punjab. Chairman and Managing Director of BFGI, Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal welcomed the guests. Maluka distributed prizes to all the winners of numerous competitions and congratulated them.

The fest offered a variety of technical and management competitions under ‘technoworld’ and ‘magnet’. Students from IITs, IIMs, NITs, engineering colleges, business schools, and degree colleges and schools participated in these events. In technoworld, competitions like aero-modelling, extreme warrior, heavy weight and clash or robos, robo war, techno jam, bridge-o-mania, project mania, light weight robo war, line follower, robo race, robo golf and quadcopater etc were organized. In magnet non-technical events like ad mad show, face painting, T-shirt painting, head scratch etc were also held.

In order to cater to the farmers of the region, an “Agri expo” was also organised at the fest. It was another major attraction in which agricultural machines with latest technology were displayed and agriculturists and farmers were able to have a look upon all the hi-tech agricultural machineries under one roof.

Other major attractions of Vibgyor were Indian Army exhibition, global village and international acts like human slinky act and aerial act which stole the limelight. The traditional martial art of Punjab, ‘gatka’ was also shown to the audience.

Amusement park, adventure sports including ATV bikes, velcro wall, gladiators, bull riding etc adventurous sports activities were also enjoyed by the guests. Ammy Virk, the famous Punjabi singer, entertained everyone with his live performance, singing his lovely songs. Singers Dhilpreet Dhillon, Amrit Maan and Amar Sajaalpuria also gave mesmerising performances.

On the third and the last day of the fest on Sunday, there will be live performances by Jazzy B, Sippy Gill, Jenny Johal and Gurnazar.
