Dist admn issues list of licensed travel, immigration agents

The district administration today issued a list of licensed travel agents, immigration consultants and consultancy and ticketing agents.

Deputy Commissioner Diprava Lakra said there were 14 government licensed travel agents, immigration consultants and consultancy and ticketing agents in the district.

He said the licence for consultancy had been issued to Rajkaran Singh Brar, a resident of Shiv Mandi Wali Gali, 100 feet road, Bathinda, from November 10, 2014 to November 9, 2019.

Similarly, Sikhali Arora, a resident of Pujjan Wala Mohalla, has been issued licence for consultancy from November 10, 2014 to November 9, 2019.

He added that Ranjit Singh, a resident of Namdev Nagar (house no 17070, St No 8), has been issued immigration and consultancy licence from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019.

Paramjit Singh, a resident of Patel Nagar, has been issued licence for immigration and consultancy from September 16, 2015 to September 15, 2020.

Darshan Singh, a resident of Rai Khana village, Maur, has been issued licence for coaching institute and IELTS consultancy from September 16, 2015 to September 15, 2020.

Gurjit Singh, a resident of Rampura Phul, has been issued licence for visa and consultancy from September 16, 2015 to September 15, 2020.

Sarika Jeora, a resident of Navin Basti, has been issued licence for immigration and consultancy from September 16, 2015 to September 15, 2020.

Vinod Kumar, a resident of Rampura Phul, has been issued travel agent and ticket agent licence from September 6, 2016 to September 5, 2021.

Ranjit Sharma from Rampura has been issued licence for ticket agent from September 6, 2016 to September 5, 2021.

He stated that from December 5, 2016 to December 4, 2021, three people had been issued different licences.

They include Rakesh Goel, a resident of Guru Kashi Marg, Bathinda, as travel and ticket agent, Gurmukh Singh, a resident of Patel Nagar, as travel agent and Swaran Prakash, a resident of Ward No 4, Maur Mandi, as ticket and IELTS consultancy agent.

Kanwarpal Singh, a resident of Rampura, and Gurcharan Singh, a resident of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Bathinda, have been issued licences for IELTS consultancy from January 19, 2017 to January 18, 2022.
