Bathinda, May 19

In a major relief to patients, the district Health Department has extended the evening OPD services at four primary healthcare centres in Beant Nagar, Lal Singh Basti, Parasram Nagar and Janta Nagar.

The doctors will examine patients in the evening at the OPD from 4 pm to 7 pm on working days.

At the Civil Hospital’s OPD, doctors are already examining patients in the evening. With the new move, city residents, especially who are living at distant places, will get an access to medical services in the evening hours as well.

Evening duties at the OPD will be assigned to different doctors, who will examine and treat the patients at urban health centres. — TNS
