Man murdered by wife’s paramour

Bathinda, October 2

A man was allegedly murdered today by his wife’s paramour, in connivance with the woman and other accomplices at Jassi Pauwali village The deceased has been identified as Kulwinder Singh (29), father of a three-year-old son.

Kotfatta SHO Balwinder Singh said the first impression of the crime spot and statements of relatives and villagers revealed that the man’s wife was into an illicit relationship with the main accused.

The dead body of Kulwinder was found lying near the agricultural field of the accused.

Both accused and deceased are agriculturalists and own marginal landholdings.

An FIR for murder has been lodged at the Kotfatta police station on the basis of a complaint by the deceased’s brother, Sukhjinder Singh.

Sukhjinder has accused the victim’s wife, her paramour and others of murdering his brother.

Police officials said the names of the wife, paramour and the unidentified persons would be incorporated in the FIR. Further investigation is on. — TNS
