BATHINDA: Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today visited markets of the city to offer good wishes to traders and residents on the eve of Diwali.

Bathinda, October 18

Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today visited markets of the city to offer good wishes to traders and residents on the eve of Diwali.

Accompanied by other members of the Congress, he went to Gandhi Market, Dhobi Bazaar and other areas.

Talking to shopkeepers, the minister said the state government was working hard towards addressing the problems, which were being faced by residents of the state.

He added that the government had already lowered the price of electricity for traders, which would be given to them at Rs 5 per unit and the rate would remain the same for the next five years.

Accompanying the minister were KK Aggarwal, Pawan Mani, Jagroop Singh Gill, Rajan Garg, Mohan Lal Jhumba and others leaders.
