Meritorious School registers 100 per cent result

BATHINDA: Students of Senior Secondary School for Meritorious Students, Bathinda, have brought laurels to their institution by registering 100 per cent result in the PSEB Class XII exams, barring a few re-appears in physics.

Students of Senior Secondary School for Meritorious Students, Bathinda, have brought laurels to their institution by registering 100 per cent result in the PSEB Class XII exams, barring a few re-appears in physics.

Shiv Kumar, Gagandeep Singh and Davinder Kumar, students of non-medical stream secured the first three positions in the school with 94.4, 93.5 and 92.4 per cent marks, respectively.

In the medical stream, Navjot Kaur and Sandhya Rani tied for the first position by securing 91.5 per cent marks.

Kulwinder Kaur stood second in the stream with 88.8 per cent and Ramandeep Kaur stood third with 88.4 per cent.

In the commerce stream, Anto Kaur and Madhu Bala tied for the first place with 91.5 per cent marks.

Arshdeep Kaur and Manminder Singh tied for the second place with 90 per cent while Uma Rani scored 89.7 per cent marks to be placed at third position in the school.

Congratulating the students, school principal Ruby Gupta also appreciated the staff members for their dedication and hard work.

“A total of 457 students from the school had appeared for the examinations and all managed to clear. As many as 17 students secured more than 90 per cent marks,” she said.

Dashmesh School

All students of science and commerce streams of Dashmesh Senior Secondary School cleared the examination.

In the humanities stream, the school registered 97 per cent pass percentage. Science student Jyoti scored 92.4 per cent marks to stand first in the school.

Science student Amandeep and commerce student Manpreet Kaur stood second in the school with 92 per cent marks. Commerce student Renu stood third in the school with 90.4 per cent marks. School principal Dr Ravinder Singh Mann and vice-principal Renu Uppal congratulated the students.

SSD School

Commerce students Ritika, Aayushi and Dimple bagged the top three positions in SSD Public Senior Secondary School by scoring 94.88, 03.55 and 92.44 per cent marks, respectively. The students were congratulated by the school principal and management members.

Government School, Ballianwali

Students of Government Senior Secondary School, Ballianwali, also performed well in the examination. Priya Rani (95.11 per cent), Komalpreet (93.77 per cent) and Sonpreet (93.11 per cent) secured the top three positions in the school.

School principal Randhawa Singh and staff members honoured the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours.

Jalalabad boy tops in Bathinda district

Karan Kapoor, a student of Baba Farid Senior Secondary School, Deon, brought laurels to his family and institution by securing the ninth place in the top 10 list for boys in the state.

With a score of 95.78 per cent, Karan also grabbed the first place in Bathinda district. A student of humanities stream, Karan aspires to get into judicial services and had in fact left for Delhi after appearing for his examinations to pursue law.

He is a resident of Gubaya in Jalalabad. While his grandfather Subhash Kapoor is the sarpanch of Gubaya, his father Jaswant Singh runs a daily utility store. His mother Usha Rani is a housewife. Principal of the school, Baljinder Singh, and Baba Farid Group of Institutions chairman Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal congratulated him.
