A day after a complaint by the Congress regarding the distribution of LPG connections and sports kits by a SAD MLA, the MLA's nephew has lodged a counter-complaint against the Congress.
SAD MLA Sarup Chand Singla's nephew has accused the Congress of filling forms for government jobs and distributing free smartphones under the Captain Smart Connect Scheme.
While the 'single-line' complaint lodged by SAD MLA's nephew is pending in the Election Complaint Cell, a raid was conducted at the office of the SAD MLA
last night.
A bundle of 20 copies of Aadhaar card and 30 forms - bearing a date before the imposition of the election code of conduct — have been seized by the officials.
The complaint by the SAD MLA's nephew appears to be the work of a non-professional. It merely states: "Regarding filling of forms of job and free smartphone. Location of counter near Purana Thana."
So far, 16 complaints have been received by the cell. In another complaint received today, a government computer teacher, Sukhwinder Singh, deployed at Jodhpur Romana village has alleged that he was transferred to Badal village on January 4, the day the election code of conduct was imposed.
The teacher alleged that someone seemed to have forged his signature on an application for mutual transfer or swapping of two teachers when he was on medical leave. "I am still on medical leave due to chicken pox, but my school principal has informed me over the phone that I have been relieved and should join duty at Badal village," Sukhwinder said.
