One killed, five hurt in road accidents

BATHINDA: A person was killed and one injured in a road mishap near Daula village today.

A person was killed and one injured in a road mishap near Daula village today. In another road mishap, four persons were injured near Gurthari village.

Both accidents took place due to stay cattle.

The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Multania village, and he was coming to Bathinda on a motorcycle with his friend Jagdeep Singh. As they reached near Daula village, stray cattle hit their motorcycle. Gurpreet was declared brought dead by doctors and Jagdeep received injuries. The postmortem of Gurpreet was conducted at the Civil Hospital, Bathinda.

The Gidderbaha police have registered a case in this regard.

Four persons of Rampura injured in a road accident as stray cattle hit their Enova car. They were going to Salasaar from Rampura. The injured have been identified as Ashok Goyal, his son Vikas Goyal, wife Sushma and daughter-in-law Garima. TNS
