The 62nd (U-14) Punjab State School Handball Games are all set to start tomorrow at St Xavier’s School in the city. The games will conclude on October 16.
Teams from all the districts are participating in the tournament.
The arrangement for the event has been completely made. The stay of the girl players have been kept at SSD Moti Ram School, SSD Public School, Arya Girls High School and MHR School.
The boy players will stay at Harkrishan Public School, SS Desraj Jain, DAV Public School, Bhoj Raj Jain Public School and Saint Joseph Convent School.
The Education Department will provide Rs 125 meal per day for each player. No player will be allowed to have food from outside or stay outside. Anyone found violating the norm would be disqualified.
The department is also taking Rs 1,000 from the team in-charge as a security fee during their stay.
If any team damages any material of the school they are staying in, then it would be deducted from the submitted security fee.
