Skill mela for unemployed tomorrow

Punjab Skill Development Mission in collaboration with District Employment Bureau is organizing “Skill Mela” on April 27, 2018 in Employment bureau office near Children`s Park, Bathinda. People from all the training centers will be present in the mela. Guidance for enrollment into different courses as per the interest and need of the candidates will be given. Interested candidates will also be able to get seats for training under courses. Unemployed youth of 18-35 yrs age group from Bathinda district is invited to explore the available opportunities and develop their skills.

It has been observed that the one fifth of unemployed youth registered with employment bureau is unskilled. Few are 10th pass, some are educated upto 12th and others are graduates. These candidates although possess basic qualification but lack any skills which poses a great hinderance in start off of their carrier. Various training centers are present in Bathinda which run short term training and certificate courses. These courses are either free of cost or charge a minimal amount and are affordable.
