During the festive season, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is sweets. Over the centuries sweets have been on top of the chart during the festival season.

Kapoor Sweets corner opposite Public Library near Nai Basti in the city is one of the oldest sweets corner in the city, which has served citizens for the last 45 years.

This time they have come up with sugar-free and low-calories sweets to encourage health-conscious people who were reluctantly avoiding sweets in the festive season.

Talking to Bathinda Tribune, Gautam Kapoor, owner of the shop, said, “There is an endless variety of sweets to choose from. On the one hand, you have barfis, on the other you have salasar ladoos, julie, cham-chams and galub jamuns. Kaju katli is the most favoured item, though a lot many varieties of sweets are around, but this is one item that has no match.”

Above all, we are selling these sweets at competitive rates which the other shops cannot offer, he added.

Beside this, we also serve chole bhature, bread pakoda, tikki channa and dahi bhalla, which are not only delicious, but also come at affordable rates.

Kapoor said, “During the festive season we always bring something new and fresh at pocket-friendly rates so that every class of society can enjoy and celebrate the festive season with their dear ones.”
