Three sports school students for kabaddi national camp

BATHINDA: Three kabaddi players — Harjit Ram, Paras Singh and Gagandeep Kaur — of Sports School Ghudda were selected for the national camp during the Sub-Junior National Championship held in Tamil Nadu from April 13 to April 18.

Three kabaddi players — Harjit Ram, Paras Singh and Gagandeep Kaur — of Sports School Ghudda were selected for the national camp during the Sub-Junior National Championship held in Tamil Nadu from April 13 to April 18.

The championship was organised by the Kabaddi Federation of India.

In a press statement issued here, school principal Bhupinder Singh Maan said three students of the school had been selected for the national camp.

The school principal said sports coordinator Harjinder Singh and kabaddi coach Baljinder Singh had worked hard with the students.

He said these players would emulate the performance given by football players of the school at the national and inter-national level.

Kabaddi coach Simarjit Kaur, volleyball coach Baljinder Kaur, athletics coach Seema Rani, football coach Hardeep Singh and others congratulated the selected player.
