Triveni Engineering and Industrial Limited launched its toll-free no 1800 180 2428 for residents so that they could register their complaints against water supply and sewerage related problems.

Deputy general manager of the water supply and sewerage project, VB Shivanagi, and senior manager Rajiv Raut said anyone could register complaint about water supply and sewerage problem and it would be solved as soon as possible.

The goal of Triveni Engineering and Industrial Limited is to provide 100 per cent water supply and sewerage facility to the people.

They said with the cooperation of the Municipal Corporation Bathinda, the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and city residents, they managed to complete the work of laying 14,144 metre of water pipeline and 10,000 metre of sewer pipeline in different areas of the city.

“During the execution of the project, we completed the work of laying 3803 metre of water pipeline on Multania Road, 1,892 metre in Surkpir Road area, 396 metre in Paras Ram Nagar area, 831 metre in Bangi Nagar area, 1,771 metre in Udham Singh Nagar, 1,079 metre on Naruana road, 2,086 metre in Lal Singh Basti, 1,909 metre in Adarsh Nagar area and 306.5 metre in Basant Vihar, hundred feet road near the railway crossing and Naruana,” they said.

Additionally, the work of linking sewerage pipes is also running at a fast pace in various areas of the city with 7,633 metre already covered.

As many as 199 homes have been given sewerage connections till now.

“Under the project, we have completed the sewerage pipe linking work in Paras Ram Nagar 1,813 metre, Pratap Nagar 1,616 metre, Anoop Nagar 1,087 metre, Amarpura Basti 48 metre, Hans Nagar 938 metre, Bhai Matti Das Nagar 657 metre, Naruana road 1,043 metre, Anupam Nagar and Fauji Chowk 334 metre, Dhobiana Basti 294 metre, Guru Amardas Nagar 138 metre,” they said.
