Two arrested with heroin

BATHINDA: Two persons have been arrested under the NDPS Act in the district in separate incidents.

Two persons have been arrested under the NDPS Act in the district in separate incidents. In the first incident, a person was nabbed by a police team during checking at the Gurujaga T-point and 14 grams of heroin was recovered from the accused.

The accused has been identified as Zabarjung Singh, a resident of Kothe Inder Singhwale. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at the Talwandi Sabo police station.

In the second incident, a person was nabbed with 4.5 grams of heroin during checking at Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar. The accused has been identified as Avtar Sharma, a resident of Sai Nagar. The accused has been booked under the NDPS Act at the Civil Lines police station.
