Two booked for fraud

BATHINDA: The cantonment police and NRI police station in Bathinda today claimed to have busted a fake company cheating people on the pretext of sending them abroad.

The cantonment police and NRI police station in Bathinda today claimed to have busted a fake company cheating people on the pretext of sending them abroad.

Two persons were booked by the police, but no arrest has been made by the police yet in this case. A case was registered on the complaint of Inspector Sandeep Singh, SHO of the NRI police station, against Chetan Goyal, a resident of North Estate, Bathinda, and unidentified accused.

It has been stated that the accused had made a fake company, Sky Lane Associates, at phase-1, Model Town, Bathinda, and has been allegedly cheating people on the pretext of sending abroad.

The police registered a case under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 120-B of the IPC against the accused. — TNS
