Bathinda: The Bathinda police on Thursday arrested two persons with illicit liquor and intoxicant pills in separate cases.



Bathinda: The Bathinda police on Thursday arrested two persons with illicit liquor and intoxicant pills in separate cases. The Maur police arrested Jagseer Singh, a resident of Maur Kalan with 11 bottles of illicit liquor from Maur Mandi. The accused has been booked under the Excise Act. The Sangat police arrested Harnek Singh, a resident of Chak Ruldu Singh Wala village, with 570 intoxicants pills from his village. The accused has been booked under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act. — TNS
