Two youths die in hit-and-run case

KOTKAPURA: Two youths were killed in a hit-and-run case near Kotkapura on Wednesday.



Kotkapura, March 21

Two youths were killed in a hit-and-run case near Kotkapura on Wednesday. Class X student Arshdeep Singh (18) and his first cousin, Baljinder Singh (19), a Class XII student, died on the spot when the bike they were riding was hit by an unknown vehicle near Green Dhaba on the Kotkapura-Moga road, 3 km from here.

While Baljinder Singh was driving the bike, Arshdeep was riding pillion. Their bike was hit on the road when they were going to Panjgrain Kalan village after having food at Green Dhaba.

The youths succumbed to their head injuries. Doctors at the Civil Hospital declared them brought dead. The youths were the only children in their families. — TNS
