Woman loses gold chain to snatchers

A snatching incident was reported from the city today. Two unidentified youngsters snatched a gold chain from a school teacher at Guru Gobind Singh Nagar. Residents gathered on the spot after woman raised an alarm. People chased the accused but they managed to run away.

Navjot Kaur of Street-4 in Guru Gobind Singh Nagar told the police that her son was playing in the street and as she come outside, two  youngsters came on a black bike, which was without number plate, and snatched her chain. As the accused wore helmets, she could not identify them. IO Sohan Singh said a case was registered and they had examined the CCTV footage, but it was no cleared.
