IOC to set up ethanol plant at Panipat

CHANDIGARH:Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has decided to set up a second generation ethanol plant over an area of 50 acres at Panipat.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has decided to set up a second generation ethanol plant over an area of 50 acres at Panipat. This was disclosed by BV Rama Gopal, Executive Director, Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, at a meeting with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here today.

He also urged the CM that IOC be provided with land of the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) in Panipat for the setting up of this plant. The CM asked him to send a proposal to the state government is this regard and assured that his request would be considered favourably. — TNS
