LG launches #KarSalaam initiative

CHANDIGARH: To celebrate the 68th Republic Day, LG Electronics India will contribute a certain amount on every LG product sold till January 26, towards the ‘National Defence Fund’, which is dedicated to the welfare of soldiers.

To celebrate the 68th Republic Day, LG Electronics India will contribute a certain amount on every LG product sold till January 26, towards the ‘National Defence Fund’, which is dedicated to the welfare of soldiers. The company today launched an initiative — #KarSalaam — dedicated to Indian soldiers.

Surinder Sachdeva, Regional Business Head- Punjab, LG Electronics India, said, “We salute the spirit of our soldiers who valiantly give up their life to protect the country but hardly find an opportunity to reach out to them. Therefore, we took this initiative to bring together the citizens of India to express their gratitude to our soldiers…As a small token of our effort to salute the spirit of India, LG will contribute a certain amount to the National Defence Fund and our citizens’ wishes would be shared with the soldiers.”

The company will reach out to citizens through radio, on ground and digital communication to capture the wishes of the citizens of India for the soldiers. The company also plans to invite people through social media platforms.
