Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) will team up with Uber to explore deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) on the cab aggregator’s platform in several cities across India, the automaker said on Friday.

The company, which has already tied up with Ola to build an electric mass mobility ecosystem in Nagpur, will deploy “hundreds of electric vehicles in Delhi and Hyderabad” under the new partnership. Yamaha launches superbike at Rs 10.88 lakh

India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd on Friday launched a new version of its superbike Yamaha MT-09, priced at Rs 10.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a newly developed 847 cc, 3-cylinder engine. It is also equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS) technology, the company said. PTI

Siemens Q4 net profit plunges 75%

Siemens on Friday reported a sharp 74.94% decline in standalone net profit at Rs 623.77 crore for the fourth quarter to September on account of lower exceptional income. The company follows October to September financial cycle. Its total income fell 2.54% to Rs 3,204.8 crore, from Rs 3,288.46 crore earlier, Siemens said. PTI
