Maruti Q4 net jumps 60%

NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) today reported a 60% jump in net profit at Rs 1,284 crore for the quarter ending March 2015 as against Rs 800 crore in the same period a year ago.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) today reported a 60% jump in net profit at Rs 1,284 crore for the quarter ending March 2015 as against Rs 800 crore in the same period a year ago.

The company said higher volumes, lower material cost contributed to its bottomline in Q4. The revenue increased 12% to Rs 13,273 crore from Rs 11,818 crore in March 2014. The company sold a total of 12,92,415 units during the year, a growth of 11.9% over the previous year.

The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 500% (Rs 25 per share of face value Rs 5) for 2014-15.

Bharti Infratel net up 18%

Bharti Infratel today reported 18% jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 558 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

Consolidated revenue rose 6% to Rs 2,947 crore for the reported period compared with Rs 2,790 crore last year. The company has proposed a final dividend of Rs 6.5 per share in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 4.5 per share earlier.

ICICI Bank Q4 profit rises 10.2%

ICICI Bank today registered 10.2% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,922 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2015 on the back of higher interest income.

Total income increased from Rs 14,465.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014, to Rs 16,234.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, it said.
