Strong demand from institutional buyers saw bids worth over Rs 580 crore coming in on the first day of government’s 10% stake sale in manganese miner MOIL. The share sale attracted bids for over 1.60 crore shares as against 1.06 crore shares offered to institutional investors, garnering a subscription of 1.51 times, according to the stock exchange data. BSE’s IPO oversubscribed 1.55 times
The initial public offer of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) — the first by a domestic stock exchange in India — to raise up to Rs 1,243 crore was oversubscribed 1.55 times on the second day of the offer on Tuesday. The IPO, which closes on Wednesday, received bids for 1,67,06,394 shares against the total issue size of 1,07,99,039 shares, data available with the NSE till 1700 hrs showed. PTI

BookMyShow acquires MastiTickets
BookMyShow has acquired Hyderabad-based online ticketing platform, MastiTickets, for an undisclosed sum, a move aimed at consolidating its presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The acquisition will include transfer of MastiTickets’ key assets along with existing cinema partnerships to BookMyShow, BookMyShow chief executive officer and co-founder Ashish Hemrajani said. PTI
