New Delhi: As the telecom operators of the country prepare themselves for the much-vaunted launch of Reliance Jio services with cutting down data and voice call costs, Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) on Tuesday announced a 300 minutes offer for 4G app-to-app calling for a meagre amount of Re 1.
This offer has been introduced in Delhi and NCR, and is valid for a period of 30 days.
RCom said the move was aimed at addressing the issue of call drops. In line with that, the offer has even been named “Call Drops Se Chutkaara”, which means freedom from call drops.
With this we want to make sure that there are no call drops for our customers using 4G LTE network, RCom said.
Gurdeep Singh, CEO of consumer business at Reliance Communications, said, “We want Delhi to speak on data.”
“Delhi-NCR will get an India-first offer of 300 minutes of app-to-app talking. This will be valid for 30 days at just Re 1 — 10 minutes a day for 30 days,” Singh said.
The offer comes a day after Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel slashed 4G and 3G mobile internet charges by up to 80%. tns
