New Delhi: Diageo-controlled United Spirits Ltd (USL) has exited from Vijay Mallya-led United Breweries Ltd by selling its entire 3.21% stake in the company for Rs 872 crore. United Spirits sold its stake to Heineken International BV at a price consideration of Rs 1,030 per share, USL said. PTI

Govt mulls raising Rs 15,000 cr through gold bond scheme
Government is looking at raising Rs 15,000 crore in the current fiscal through the gold bond scheme, for which a Cabinet note is likely to be moved for consideration later in the month. The interest rate for the scheme would be close to the rates on government securities. PTI

Toyota recalls 7,129 units of Corolla in India
Toyota is recalling 7,129 units of its executive sedan Corolla in India to fix faulty passenger side airbags as part of a global exercise. The company said the units being recalled were manufactured between April 2007 and July 2008. PTI
