2 more snatchings reported

CHANDIGARH: Two more cases of snatching have been registered by the police. Occupants of a car snatched a mobile phone from a paying guest in Sector 21 while in another case, a gold chain was snatched from a woman in Sector 61.

Two more cases of snatching have been registered by the police. Occupants of a car snatched a mobile phone from a paying guest in Sector 21 while in another case, a gold chain was snatched from a woman in Sector 61.

Ruchi Dadwal, who stays as a paying guest in Sector 21, was standing near a park and talking on her mobile phone when a youth came and snatched the phone yesterday.

The youth then rushed to a car parked nearby and fled from the spot.

In the second incident, which was reported on August 9, two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman, a resident of Sector 61.
