MOHALI: Two migrants were electrocuted while one suffered serious burn injuries after coming in contact with high-tension wires here today.

Mohali, July 20

Two migrants were electrocuted while one suffered serious burn injuries after coming in contact with high-tension wires here today.

The victims have been identified as Mukesh and Sunil, both aged around 19. The injured has been identified as Dheeraj. All of them were residents of Gazipur in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident occurred on the campus of a private college around 2 pm today at Gharuan village near Kharar.

According to the police, the victims were painting the wall of the college premises. They were using a folding ladder, which touched the high-tension wires, resulting in the mishap.

Mukesh and Sunil got stuck to the ladder while Dheeral fell on the ground.

The college staff took the victims to a private hospital where Mukesh and Sunil were declared brought dead.
