Chandigarh: Three burglaries were reported in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, June 24

Three burglaries were reported in Chandigarh. The police have no clue to anyone of these. In the first incident, cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 lakh were stolen from a house in Sector 22 while the family of a Haryana Roadways bus conductor was sleeping. The thief entered from the back door, which was kept open for fresh air. The victim, Conductor Mukesh Kumar, later complained to the police. In another case, Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Sector 8, alleged that unknown persons stole Rs 43,155 from his wine shop in Sector 34 on the night of Thursday. Ravinder Gulati, a resident of Baltana, alleged that unknown persons took away Rs 24,500, a mobile phone and three taps from his office at SCO No. 269, Sector 44, on Thursday. In all three cases, FIRs has been registered.
