A two-day workshop on ‘Investigation and efficient functioning of police stations’ for inspectors and newly posted SHOs concluded at the Chandigarh Police Training Centre in Sector 26 here today.
A total of 25 inspectors and 55 sub-inspectors of the Chandigarh Police attended the workshop.
On the first day of the workshop, UT DIG Dr OP Mishra, SSP Nilambari Jagdale and other officers delivered lectures on image of the police, women safety and human trafficking, manpower deployment in police stations, preparation of dossiers, prevention and detection of crime and community policing. The workshop aimed at enhancing the knowledge of police officials and proper enforcement of law in the city.
