Actress Alia in town, shoots at YPS

Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film Raazi has been hitting headlines ever since its announcement. The movie is about a Kashmiri girl who marries a Pakistani officer (played by Vicky Kaushal) and spies for the Indian Intelligence. The royal city has become a host to yet other glittering celebrities from silver screen as Alia Bhatt is shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s directorial venture Raazi.

After playing a Bihari migrant in Udta Punjab, Alia Bhatt is set to play the role of a Kashmiri girl in this film.  The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions. It is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’. The story is based on the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war.

The actress is enthusiastically shooting with students of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala. The students of the school are performing in various scenes for the film.
