Annual day celebrations at St. Xavier’s

St. Xavier’s International School, Patiala, celebrated its annual function ‘Jagriti — a step towards better society’ amidst great zest. The theme of the function was social evils.

St. Xavier’s International School, Patiala, celebrated its annual function ‘Jagriti — a step towards better society’ amidst great zest. The theme of the function was social evils.

Principal Manjeet Kaur Waraich formally welcomed the eminent guests and read the school’s annual report. She highlighted the growth and vision of the school and thanked the chairman and director for their constant support.

A glittering bonanza of skits, dances depicting carefree life, mime and street play were staged. The problem of child labour was depicted beautifully by students of VI –Tulips. The other mesmerising performances of the evening were bomb blast by Class VIII, Holi by Class V and dance items by Class VI on Tamil songs.
