Chandigarh, February 29

Eleven-year-old Ayaan Garg from the city won a bronze medal at Commonwealth Chess Championship in Malaysia. He claimed the medal in the U-12 open category. Garg started the tournament as the top seed among other 11 players from different countries.

It is the second international medal for Garg, a student of Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26.
