Biker dies in hit-and-run

Lalru, February 21

In yet another hit-and-run case, a 23-year-old youth was killed after his Bullet motorcycle was allegedly hit by an unknown vehicle on the Chandigarh-Ambala stretch here on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Rajat Chauhan, a native of Ambala district, who was staying at a rented accommodation in Lalru.

The incident occurred around 2 pm when the victim was going back to his village from Lalru.

A case has been registered.  The victim was unmarried and was working with the Steel Strips company in Lalru.  OC
