Boy dies of injuries

CHANDIGARH: A day after a two-year-old boy was injured in a road accident, the victim succumbed to the injuries at the PGI today.

A day after a two-year-old boy was injured in a road accident, the victim succumbed to the injuries at the PGI today. The victim, Ekam, was injured after the Nano car he was travelling in with his family overturned on the road separating Sectors 16 and 17.

The car was being driven by Jatinder. His father, Balak Ram, was sitting next to him and Ekam was in his lap.

The car went out of control and hit the road divider followed by an electricity pole and then overturned. Ekam fell out of the car and suffered serious injuries. The family was returning to Kishangarh after performing puja at a recently purchased residential plot in Mohali.
