Panchkula, March 29

Class XII students of Panchkula and Chandigarh schools today staged a protest outside the CBSE regional office in Sector 5, Panchkula.

The students blamed the CBSE for paper leak and stated that with the decision of re-examination, their post-exam plans and entrance exam preparations will get badly affected. They demanded rollback of decision to cancel economics paper.

The students and parents wanted to meet CBSE officials but as there was public holiday, no official was present inside the office.

Mukesh, a Class XII student, said the decision of re-examination of economics paper would badly hit their schedule of entrance tests in April. Sanskar, a student of Class XII, said the cancelled economics exam was comparatively easy. Now, he has to waste his energy to prepare for economics exam again, while his law entrance exam on April 20 will affect. — TNS
