CBSE urges schools to enrol vigyan programme

CHANDIGARH: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged schools to enrol the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) programme aimed at popularising science among students.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged schools to enrol the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) programme aimed at popularising science among students.

Vigyan Prasar, a national institute for science and technology communication, established under the Department of Science and Technology in association with the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) and Vijnana Bharati, is conducting the programme for students of Classes VI to XII.

The VVM aims at providing a platform to inculcate and generate interest in pure science. Registered students will undergo a multi-level testing and successful students will get a chance to undertake study tours and interactions with renowned scientists of our country.

Students of Classes VI to XII to take part

Vigyan Prasar, a national institute for science and technology communication, established under the Department of Science and Technology in association with the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) and Vijnana Bharati, is conducting the programme for students of Classes VI to XII.
