Chandigarh: 12 flights cancelled, over 30 delayed



Mohali, January 16

As many as 12 flights were cancelled and 31 delayed due to fog, low visibility and other reasons at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport here today. Only seven flights were on time according to the flight schedule.

Five morning flights were cancelled, of which the intimation for three had been given beforehand. It was only after 11 am the flight operations commenced at the airport.

The morning flight from Chennai departed at 11:05 am, while the first flight arrive from Bengaluru, which was late by around three hours.
