The North West Frontier, Chandigarh, bagged the Inter-Frontier Basketball Championship by defeating Northern Frontier, Dehradun, (59-30) at the closing ceremony of the ITBP Inter-Sector Basketball Championship held at Fearless-51, ITBP campus, Rajpura Road.
Constable Ashok Negi of the North West Frontier was adjudged “The Best Player of the Tournament”. Fearless-51, ITBP, Patiala, is also a battalion of the North West Frontier, the champion team. During the closing ceremony, Chief Guest, PS Bagga, Second-in-Command, Fearless-51, Patiala, emphasised that such sports meets keep all men fit and are stress busters too. It also provides a platform to young and budding players.
