CHANDIGARH:The Chandigarh Housing Board will hold the draw of lots for 150 flats under the self-financing housing scheme in Sector 51-A on July 30.

The Chandigarh Housing Board will hold the draw of lots for 150 flats  under the self-financing housing scheme  in Sector 51-A on July 30. After the compilation of data and receipt of all forms from various banks, 274 application forms have been received for the total of 200 two-bedroom flats under the scheme.

Of these, 196 forms have been received under Sub-Scheme A while 78 bids have been received under Sub-Scheme B. The full list of  bidders under Sub-Scheme B, including their names and addresses, will be uploaded on the CHB website — www.chbonline.in — as well as displayed on the notice board of the CHB office on May 30.

The list of 50 successful bidders under Sub-Scheme B will be announced on June 10 at 4 pm in the board room, Block C, CHB office, by the Property Allotment Committee in the presence of bidders. The bidders will be allotted flat numbers based on top priority to be given to the highest bidder and thereafter in the  descending order from the highest to the lowest.

Of the 78 bidders under Sub-Scheme B, 28 leftover bidders will be shifted to Sub-Scheme A and will be eligible for the draw of lots under Sub-Scheme A on July 30.

The price quoted by each applicant shall be read out in the open and the entire procedure will be videographed. The allotment of the specific flat shall be on the basis of the choice of the bidder starting from the highest to the lowest.
