CHANDIGARH: With showers lashing the city on Sunday night, the day temperature fell four notches below the normal on Monday.

With showers lashing the city on Sunday night, the day temperature fell four notches below the normal on Monday. The weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions over the next three days. 

In the past 24 hours, the city has recorded 11.2 mm rainfall. The maximum temperature recorded on Monday was 27.6 °C, four degrees below normal and the minimum 17.9°C, two degrees above normal.

The Met Department has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The maximum temperature on Tuesday is likely to be 31°C and minimum 17°C.

Meanwhile, the sudden change in weather condition has caught residents by surprise. A cool breeze also blew towards the evening on Monday, making the weather pleasant.
