Cancer detection camp in P’kula

The Amrit Cancer Foundation (ACF), in association with the World Cancer Care Trust, UK, is organising a cancer detection and awareness camp on Saturday (April 22) at the Sector 7 market in Panchkula from 10 am to 4 pm. Mammography for breast cancer, PAP smear test for uterus cancer, PSA test for prostate cancer and oral cancer check-up will be done on the spot, free of cost, at the camp. ACF president Harjit Singh Sabharwal said these tests will be done in four specially fabricated and fully equipped buses. Special talks and awareness seminars will also be held at the seminar. A team of 25 members of the medical and paramedical staff will conduct the camp. TNS
