On the third day of the six-day International Public Health Management Development Programme (IPHMD), experts dwelled upon financial management, budgeting, public health communication and advocacy in a health organisation.
Dr Shankar Prinja, Associate Professor of health economics, School of Public Health, PGI, introduced the concept of financial management and its importance in health care.
The sessions held today were supported with relevant case studies, short informative videos and associated management games.
Participants also learned about types of communication, styles and barriers and its implication in public health.
