The body of a 25- year-old Sukhwinder Singh, who went missing on October 4 from Chadiyala village, was recovered today from Ghaggar river near Jhajon village.
As per information available, Sukhwinder, a daily wager used to go in-search of work near Banur village.
Sources said on October 4, Sukhwinder, a daily wager, went in search of work. When he did not return home, his family members lodged a missing complaint at the Dera Bassi police station.
Woman dies of snakebite
A 45-year-old woman died of a snakebite on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Kamlesh Kumari of Bhagat Singh Nagar in Dera Bassi.
