Visitors to the Punjab Raj Bhawan will also have a glimpse of the works of late Nek Chand as a mini-replica of Rock Garden will come up there. Sources said the sculptures of Rock Garden will be placed at the entrance.
Nek Chand’s son Anuj Saini will be helping the Engineering Department in carrying out the project.
The replica will come up at a cost of Rs 14.25 lakh. Sources said UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore liked the creations of Nek Chand when he visited the Rock Garden and desired that some of those be placed in the Raj Bhawan too. An official of the administration said the sculptures of camel, duck, peacock, dog, wolf and deer will be installed.
