CHANDIGARH: A month-long camp for underprivileged children being organised by the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) North 2 began today at Indira Holiday Home, Sector 24.

A month-long camp for underprivileged children being organised by the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) North 2 began today at Indira Holiday Home, Sector 24.

The camp which will go on till June 30 will provide education to over 120 underprivileged children free of cost.

The camp was inaugurated by Tilak Raj Wadhwa, state secretary (finance), Bharat Vikas Parishad.

BVP North 2 patron KR Malhotra, district president JK Khanna, president SC Agrawal and secretaries IP Puri, Subhash Goyal and Avnish Bansal were among those others present.

Speaking on the occasion, Puri said a lot of children had shown interest in the camp.

He said over 10 teachers of different subjects such as English, mathematics, science, and general knowledge would teach these children participating in the camp.
