The new building of the Zila Parishad constructed in Jhujhar Nagar, near here, was inaugurated by Sikandar Singh Maluka, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, today.
Maluka said 70 per cent of the population in the country lived in villages and the country could not progress till proper development was carried out in the rural areas.
